Having a pond in the winter can be kind of boring, however it can be pretty neat looking as you can see in the picture.

Our pond just starting to freeze over.

Some winters, the ice can get pretty thick.  It’s amazing that the fish survive the cold.  (I guess).  They just go to the bottom of the pond and just stay there.

The picture you see is of my pond at the start of winter.  Taken in mid December.  It’s just starting to freeze over and now it’ll be a few months before we can start working around again.  Oh well, we’ll just enjoy as it is now.  That’s the way it is having a pond in the winter.  Bob
